The Firelands Archaeological Research Center has been working on archaeological sites in the Lake Erie region since 1991. We work with landowners and area residents to investigate area sites that generate data for analysis. Analysis of artifact assemblages, maps, measurements and more lead to our understanding of the lives of the area’s native inhabitants.
